Criminal Sentence 581: Not So Criminal, Perhaps?

From a blog post on an agent's blog:

"You need to get used to the idea that people will use your words either intentionally or un."

Technically, you can't just stick in a prefix and use it as a whole word. That said, I kind of like this illegal prefix at the end. You?

It's meaning is clear, and I like the clever wording.

Thanks, CP, though I must object to your extraneous apostrophe!!

It's lazy writing to not include the rest of the word with the prefix. And it's not clear, at least to me. If you only heard the sentence instead of reading it, you would expect more to the sentence. Instead, it sounds cut off and incomplete.
