Criminal Sentence 17: Soundalikes

Not a sentence but criminal all the same.

On the menu at my daughter's school:

Green beens

"Bean" sounds like "been," but "beens" isn't a word!

Another one I saw on a sign outside a drugstore:

Summer Sandles

I always think a dead giveaway 'spellcheck'overuse.
