Criminal Sentence 533: Let's Not

From something I'm editing:

"He let's his experience in the legal system speak for itself."

Oops!

If you spell out contractions, you can sometimes catch yourself making a boo-boo:

"He let us his experience..."

That doesn't work.

"He lets..."

Ah.
