Criminal Sentence 322: Proper nouns

From a Web site:

"However, with the dawn of the internet, that information is now readily available."

The phrase "the Internet" is usually capitalized.

  1. I have decided that internet does not need to be capitalized. I do not write, "I answered the Telephone."

  3. I use web and website. If you go to the trouble of writing "World Wide Web," then I don't object to the capitalization of it.

  4. Bill, I agree that World Wide Web is correct. Web/web and Website/website/Web site/web site are mostly style choices. I recommend just sticking with one way.
